PCS has been repeatedly raising concerns with the employer regarding deep cleaning. We have repeatedly asked for a meeting with a view to an agreed approach to suspected and confirmed Covid 19 cases on HMCTS premises. PCS maintains that in such circumstances the workplace should be closed and it should not be reopened in whole or in part until the requirements of that risk assessment have been fully met and it is agreed that it is safe to do so.
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak the HMPPS branch of the PCS union has been working hard to represent our members both locally in their place of work and at a national level with the employer.
