Advocates: get trained to help make your branch AGM a success
The AGM is the biggest opportunity each year for our members to get together in their union branch and discuss what we have done, and what we intend to do, for the next year. Any member can have their say by putting forward a motion to the meeting. This can shape and influence PCS policy locally, and even nationally. However, if you are new to being involved in PCS, it can be a confusing event.
If you have become a PCS Union Advocate in the last year, you can make a real difference to your Branch AGM being successful and well-attended by getting involved in the planning and publicity for the AGM. The session will give you the confidence to talk to colleagues about attending, and participating in, the AGM and PCS conference
PCS regions are holding a number of short (60 to 90 minutes) training sessions for advocates and others interested in helping mount a great 2022 AGM.
To register for the session online, click on the relevant registration link below, a login to PCS Digital is required.
If you haven’t registered for PCS Digital all you need to do on the online form is enter your surname, your first name and then your PCS membership number, which has 7 digits and starts with a P (you'll find it on any emails you've had from us). You then enter your personal email address and click on the sign-up button. You will then receive an email from us with instructions on how to set up your password.
