Atos Pay update – industrial action suspended

The planned action has been suspended to allow a new improved offer to be considered.

Following the result of a statutory pay ballot and notice being issued to the company of industrial action, PCS met with Atos management on 17 February in an attempt to reach an agreement on pay and get an increase to the 1.5% pay offer so overwhelmingly rejected by our members.

After some robust discussion and negotiation on both sides, Atos made an offer of a 2-year deal on pay.

The offer on the table is as follows:

2021 - 4% increase to base salary for all eligible employees. Effective from April 2021 - Lowest paid salary to increase from £20,000 FTE to £20,800 FTE

2022 - 2% increase to base salary for all eligible employees. Effective from April 2022 – Lowest paid salary to increase from £20,800 FTE to £21,216 FTE

The GEC met on Friday 18 February to discuss the offer and have agreed to recommend it to our members.

A consultative ballot is being held from Monday 21 February until noon on Friday 25 February and we would urge eligible members to vote at the on-site pay meetings we have organised.
