Mitie workers demand better - Join the march and rally: 18 June

Join your Mitie government colleagues and other PCS members on the march to demand a cost of living pay rise.

March Details: Saturday 18 June,| Portland Place, London. Assemble at 11:00 (by the giant PCS balloon). March departs 12pm, Rally 1pm Map

Government cleaners, security guards and those employed in other facilities management roles by Mitie Group Plc have provided the first line of defence during the pandemic.

  • You continued to attend work to keep workplaces safe and clean. Often at great personal risk to yourselves and your families.
  • You cleaned up sick, kept 10 Downing Street secure and received abuse during the Prime Minister’s covid rule breaking parties.
  • You suffered an 80% cut to your wages when you got sick with COVID and needed to self-isolate due to no contractual sick pay.

Your Reward? Low wages that do not cover the bills and put food on the table. Substandard employment terms and a basic lack of dignity and respect at work.

Enough is enough. Now is the time for Mitie workers to demand better.

The price of everything is going up except your wages. Mitie workers can win on pay in 2022 by acting together and building the power necessary to win.

Will you take the first step and join your Mitie colleagues to demand the government take action to protect workers against the cost-of-living crisis?

Join the thousands of other workers, trade union members, their friends and families on the march on 18 June in London.

Let’s tell this government: Mitie government workers DEMAND better.
