Recent cases have called into question the consistency and proportionality of HMRC's approach to Conduct and Discipline cases, along with the approach taken by the department's Expert Advice Service.
HMRC has confirmed the ‘go-live’ date for 60% office attendance for all grades will be 2 April 2024, with their ‘Office Attendance Tool’ rolled-out the same day.
PCS continues to have constructive talks with Defra management about a four-day week.
After being blocked by HMRC from holding a fundraising collection on-site, PCS reps in the department's Leeds office have had a great response from members, to an outdoor collection for the charity Medical Aid for Palestinians
The department is still refusing to allow on-site fundraising for medical aid for Gaza, but Leeds branch will be holding a collection outside the office on 7 March, with other branches to follow.
