Industrial action works, and inspires others to stand up and say ‘enough is enough’, said the chair of the PCS parliamentary group as he delivered the group’s annual report to conference the day after delegates agreed to ballot over pay and pensions.

PCS members at the British Council have overwhelmingly voted in favour of industrial action in a statutory ballot on redundancies, restructuring and outsourcing.
25 February 2022
PCS met with HMCTS management following the government announcement confirming the lifting of all Covid legal restrictions.
25 January 2022
PCS will be meeting with MPs on 9 February to brief them about why we are balloting our members in British Council for industrial action.
21 January 2022
British Council employees in the UK and on UK contracts overseas will soon be receiving a ballot paper to ask if they are willing to take strike action over redundancies, restructuring and outsourcing.
