PCS met with HMCTS management following the government announcement confirming the lifting of all Covid legal restrictions.

PCS has joined other justice unions and legal organisations to write to HMCTS.

Court staff will be asked whether they are opposed to new cases being placed on the Common Platform and that they support the union in its demands for proper health and safety checks.

After its income was hit by the pandemic, the British Council has notified us that it intends to begin formal redundancy consultation. This could lead to around 2000 job cuts across the organisation, in addition to cuts overseas.
