Several MPs – including members of the PCS Parliamentary Group – slammed proposed laws on minimum service levels at a parliamentary committee on Monday (27).
We have announced a fresh wave of strikes in a significant escalation of our dispute over pay, pensions, redundancy terms and job security, including 5 weeks’ strike action at the Passport Offices in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
All 4 of the areas balloted in the latest PCS industrial action ballots have returned yes votes for action as part of our national campaign on pay, pensions, changes to the Civil Service Compensation Scheme and jobs.
Following today’s news that asylum seekers and a charity have been granted permission to appeal the High Court’s finding that the government’s Rwanda asylum deal is lawful, PCS has confirmed it is still considering an appeal.
