Hundreds of PCS members working at Heathrow airport will strike for 4 days from 29 April in response to the Home Office imposing a new roster that would see around 250 members forced out of their role on passport control.
The strike action has been suspended as a result of TPR agreeing to enter into meaningful negotiations with PCS.
Staff at the Northern Ireland Civil Service will join thousands of other public sector workers across health, education and public transport in a walkout on Thursday 18 January as part of ongoing pay disputes in the region.
PCS members will take 12 more days of strike action in January and February as they continue to fight for fair pay following the imposition of an unacceptable pay deal.
At a special TUC congress today (9), PCS vowed to resist minimum service levels which limited unions' right to take strike action.
