News
PCS, with 13 other trade unions, has inflicted a major defeat on the government in the High Court over bringing agency workers in to cover strike action.
Our Equality Networks of members and reps help to implement PCS campaigns and objectives.
PCS conference gave full support to workers taking strike action against their employers and called for anti-union laws to be repealed.
Delegates at PCS conference voted to write to all members and refresh PCS Proud, the union’s self-governing group for LGBT+ members, and for the union to step up work on tackling underrepresentation.
In a debate at its group conference today, DWP reps agreed to re-ballot members for strike action after narrowly missing the 50% legal threshold in the most recent ballot.
