Look out for an email from PCS asking for your views on taking forward the national campaign which we are sending out today (20).
PCS members working for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) are continuing to campaign for a four-day week in workplaces across England.
The Public Accounts Committee is currently holding an inquiry into the civil service workforce, looking at how the government recruits, pays and performance manages its staff.
We are encouraging individual members, reps and branches to get involved in fighting the government’s plans to force staff back into offices.
Labour MP Beth Winters MP secured the debate which included several mentions of PCS, the DWP staffing crisis and our ongoing campaign.
