The Home Office has published its pay offer for 2023-24 and civil servants, including Border Force Officers and Passport Officers, are to receive up to a 13% pay rise after a vigorous campaign by PCS.
We have announced a fresh wave of strikes in a significant escalation of our dispute over pay, pensions, redundancy terms and job security, including 5 weeks’ strike action at the Passport Offices in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
All 4 of the areas balloted in the latest PCS industrial action ballots have returned yes votes for action as part of our national campaign on pay, pensions, changes to the Civil Service Compensation Scheme and jobs.
