Hundreds of PCS members working at Heathrow airport will strike for 4 days from 29 April in response to the Home Office imposing a new roster that would see around 250 members forced out of their role on passport control.
End the year with a celebration of unity over division at a demonstration outside the Home Office in London.
Suella Braverman has been unceremoniously sacked as home secretary. Our members in the Home Office will shed no tears – her tenure marked by an ever more draconian and hostile environment for refugees and our members who work for the department.
PCS has condemned the government for promising to rush through anti-strike laws which would effectively criminalise strike action for thousands of our Home Office members in the Border Force and the Passport Office.
PCS offers its support and solidarity to all those affected by today's unfolding tragedy in the English Channel. In particular, we offer our condolences and deepest sympathy to those who have lost their loved ones.
