Hundreds of PCS members working at Heathrow airport will strike for 4 days from 29 April in response to the Home Office imposing a new roster that would see around 250 members forced out of their role on passport control.
Westminster security guards have won their long-running dispute in the House of Commons after bosses scrapped controversial plans to introduce a new shift pattern.
PCS members will take 12 more days of strike action in January and February as they continue to fight for fair pay following the imposition of an unacceptable pay deal.
PCS is launching a postal ballot early in the new year at the National Museums Liverpool, which is now the only employer out of over 200 covered by the civil service pay remit guidance that has not paid staff a £1,500 one-off cost-of-living payment.
At a special TUC congress today (9), PCS vowed to resist minimum service levels which limited unions' right to take strike action.
