Your struggle is our struggle is the message from PCS to RMT members taking strike action this week.

We will see high levels of industrial action across the public sector unless the government takes decisive action to tackle the cost-of-living crisis, PCS General Secretary Mark Serwotka has warned.

PCS will immediately begin working towards holding a national statutory ballot on industrial action this autumn over members’ pay, pensions and redundancy terms in the UK civil service and related public sector areas.

Serious concerns about the staffing cuts and redundancies at the British Council have been raised with foreign secretary Liz Truss by a cross-party group of parliamentarians.
