Mark Serwotka's retirement after 23 years as general secretary of PCS signifies a pivotal point in the history of our union. The election which opens today (9) is the opportunity to choose the union’s most senior employed officers.
Health and safety (H&S) leads at all levels of the union are invited to attend the next meeting of the National Safety Forum on 4 October.
Branches are encouraged to hold an extraordinary general meeting to make one nomination each for the general secretary and assistant general secretary positions.
