News
The postal ballot opens today (18) and runs until 13 May, asking members if they are prepared to take strike action over our national campaign demands.
Talks with the Cabinet Office on our national campaign demands continued towards the end of 2023. While positive, they are unlikely to be enough to end our dispute, and we are putting in place plans to get members ready for a ballot in the new year.
The special TUC Congress this weekend (9 December) will discuss the next stage of campaigning against the government’s anti-strike laws.
DVSA members, who can request replacement ballots through PCS digital until 8pm on 29 November, tell us why they will be voting yes.
PCS will join a special TUC congress on 9 December which will “explore options for non-compliance and resistance” to the government’s anti-trade union restrictions which represent a direct attack on workers’ rights.
