Black workers earn less (ÂŁ13.53 median gross hourly) than white employees (ÂŁ14.35), according to new figures released by the Official of National Statistic (ONS).
PCS members at The Pensions Regulator are furious as the employer is imposing an insulting pay offer on this month’s payday (30 November).
The responses to the PCS Pay Survey in HMRC and VOA are grim. With HMRC and VOA on course to stay Minimum Wage employers, 62% of members struggle to meet basic costs, 44% need outside support to supplement their pay, and 61% are considering leaving.
