Conference  overwhelmingly passed the motion to allow the NEC to investigate the merits of a more federal structure for the union in terms of making decisions around economic, industrial and social matters in a particular geographical area.  

The recent civil unrest and threats to workers in Northern Ireland amidst heightened community tensions, is a concern for PCS members living and working in Northern Ireland.
