The strike action has been suspended as a result of TPR agreeing to enter into meaningful negotiations with PCS.
Staff at the Northern Ireland Civil Service will join thousands of other public sector workers across health, education and public transport in a walkout on Thursday 18 January as part of ongoing pay disputes in the region.
National Museums Liverpool members will receive full strike pay if they vote for taking action in the ongoing ballot.
PCS members will take 12 more days of strike action in January and February as they continue to fight for fair pay following the imposition of an unacceptable pay deal.
PCS is launching a postal ballot early in the new year at the National Museums Liverpool, which is now the only employer out of over 200 covered by the civil service pay remit guidance that has not paid staff a ÂŁ1,500 one-off cost-of-living payment.
