The Public Accounts Committee is currently holding an inquiry into the civil service workforce, looking at how the government recruits, pays and performance manages its staff.
Fresh PCS strike ballots have opened today (20 March) of 124,125 members in 186 employers, across the civil service and public sector so members can continue to fight for fair pay, pensions justice and job security as part of our national campaign.
More than 30,000 civil servants – including those working for His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) – today (16) begin a new ballot for strike action over pay, pensions, redundancy terms and job security.
