News
PCS has been in negotiations with Ofsted over pay. We will hold a members' meeting on Thursday 16 November at 6pm, via Zoom to give a full update and hear your views.
An election for a new PCS general secretary (GS) has been sparked by Mark Serwotka’s retirement. The assistant general secretary (AGS) election will be held in parallel.
PCS general secretary, Mark Serwotka, said it was a historic day for the union and democracy in action in his opening speech at the inaugural Scotland devolved policy conference today in Glasgow.
We have a new course specially for young members and one for reps who make the arrangements for their branch Annual General Meeting.
Progress has been made in 2023, but civil service pay is still trailing, so in HMRC and VOA, PCS is launching an on-line survey of members, to be completed by Friday 17 November.
