PCS represents people who work in the civil service or in the private sector on a government contract. We promote equality and tackle discrimination in the workplace, society and the wider world.

In the first part of our news series focusing on why certain subjects are trade union issues, we look at why racism is an issue in workplaces, and why trade unions have the responsibility to ensure employers tackle racial discrimination effectively.
