In the lead-up to the 18 June We Demand Better march and rally in London, the TUC is hosting a series of town hall events across the UK which we urge PCS members to get involved with.

Reps from 3 PCS Revenue and Customs branches have been involved in welcoming staff to a new HMRC hub in Greater Manchester this week and will be there until the staff inductions finish in June.

PCS members at the British Council are this week taking strike action over plans to make more than 200 workers redundant. 

The PCS campaigns to save DWP offices from closure, and for better pay and pensions will be highlighted by representatives from PCS tomorrow at a demonstration outside the Conservative party spring conference in Blackpool

PCS members working for the British Council in the UK and on UK contracts will be taking strike action on 24 and 25 March over job cuts, privatisation and changes to overseas allowances.
