Have your say on changes to handling of partnership pensions and additional voluntary contributions

11 Oct 2017

PCS members have until 25 October to submit their comments and concerns to a government consultation about changes to some civil service pension arrangements.

The consultation mainly affects our members who are in the Partnership Pension scheme, or who are paying more to buy extra pension via additional voluntary contributions (AVCs). These are defined contribution features of civil service pensions, but most members are in the main civil service schemes, including the new Alpha scheme, which are defined benefit schemes.

The main feature of the proposed changes is that from September 2018, these DC schemes will be taken on by a single, new provider – Legal and General.

Members are free to submit comments and concerns to this consultation by 25 October.

Complete the form at the end of the document and email it to DC.Provider@cabinetoffice.gov.uk  or send it to:
