We are urging all our members to sign up a colleague to our union to help us grow our pay campaign and force the government into delivering fully funded, above inflation pay rises for all public sector workers.
In our consultative ballot on pay, which ended on Monday, members voted overwhelmingly to back our campaign of action on pay. And during the ballot period from 9 October to 6 November, we recruited a record 3,000 members keen to support our pay campaign. But we need our members’ help to add many others, and make us a stronger union, to achieve pay justice.
PCS general secretary Mark Serwotka said: “If we continue to build our union and continue to talk about campaigning together we can go into the new year confident that, if the government doesn't do something about this pay injustice we are determined to campaign to make them.”
