The demonstration in London starts this Saturday at noon and there will also be rallies in Cardiff and Glasgow.
In the face of growing evidence of hate crimes, join the PCS contingent on Saturday, complete with the PCS Samba band, to celebrate our shared values of solidarity, equality and tolerance and to demonstrate against the growth of the politics of hate.
The rallies and demonstrations, which are taking place in cities across the world, are to mark the United Nation’s international day of anti-racism.
PCS is proud to support the rally in London, organised by Stand up to Racism and supported by the TUC.
Our speaker at the London rally will be Zita Holbourne, national vice president.
Assemble from noon at Park Lane, near the Dorchester Hotel W1K 1QA (nearest Tube Hyde Park). See map.
PCS will assemble as close to the Dorchester Hotel as we can get on the day, where the majority of other trade unions will also be assembling. We will have PCS flags and placards and the national banner.
Cardiff and Glasgow
The Cardiff rally will be outside City Hall from 11am.
Come and celebrate our union’s diversity and say no to hate.
