PCS has welcomed Jeremy Corbyn’s commitment to end the 1% public sector pay cap and the value he places on public sector workers.
The Labour leader used his speech to the party’s conference in Brighton today to reiterate that a Labour government would end the pay cap for all public sector workers and pledged a new and dynamic role for the public sector.
PCS General Secretary Mark Serwotka said: "Jeremy has delivered a brilliant speech which offers hope to millions of people who want to see a more equal society. We welcome his commitment to end the pay cap and the value he places on public sector workers. We look forward to working with him to bring this about as soon as possible."
