A hugely faulty payment system is leaving many security guards working for G4S at the Ministry of Justice out of pocket, with some missing out on sums in excess of £1,600.
“The government must act now to ensure fair wages and working conditions for civil servants,” Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has urged in a solidarity message to PCS members voting in our postal pay ballot.
PCS is encouraging branches to organise and support activities in their workplaces and communities to celebrate the day and focus on health and safety.
Voting opens tomorrow (25 April) in PCS group elections and it’s vital for our union’s democracy that you use your vote and have your say.
If you’ve not yet voted in the PCS postal pay ballot it’s a critical week for you to use your vote as we are now in the final week of our civil service-wide ballot.
With the deadline for returning ballot papers fast approaching we are looking to squeeze out every vote possible.
