Are you a PCS member in the Ministry of Justice and want to get more involved in your union? Sign up for a training session.
Our members in MoJ have voted resoundingly to reject the MEP with 93% voting to oppose the 2018-22 Modernising Employment Proposition deal on a 74% turnout. But we need to campaign in all MoJ workplaces to keep up the pressure – on issues including pay, HMCTS reform and workplace closures.
During July and August we held meetings in over a hundred locations, and over a thousand new members joined PCS. Dozens of new PCS members have come forward expressing interest in getting actively involved in the union for the first time.
A stronger PCS union in MoJ is the way we can prepare and help us we to organise to win. To begin this process we are running a series of regional 2-hour training and planning sessions to develop local strategies across the department.
The sessions, which start next Wednesday (17), will cover:
- getting involved in the union
- where we are with negotiations
- what we need to do to organise.
- communicating with members.
If you want to find out more about getting involved in our union, or are already getting involved but want to network with other interested members locally, complete the online form and opt for a training session near you. You can claim your travel and subsistence costs from your PCS region.
