PCS TUC fringe meeting 2018

In Manchester for TUC? Come to the PCS fringe meeting which will debate social security – what needs to change under a progressive Labour government.

Come and listen to speakers, including PCS General Secretary Mark Serwotka, and join the debate on what a properly-resourced and funded social security system would look like under a progressive Labour government. Can Universal Credit be reformed or should it be scrapped? How can jobcentres be improved to be more focused on meeting the needs of local communities?

The fringe will be chaired by PCS president Janice Godrich and other speakers include Liane Groves (Head of Unite Community) and Colin Hampton (Derbyshire Unemployed Workers’ Centre).

Come to room Charter 4 at Manchester Central Convention Complex to find out more. Refreshments will be provided.
