PCS General Secretary Mark Serwotka is answering your questions in a Facebook Live event on pay at 7pm tonight and there's still time to send in your question.
Mark is holding the event tonight to coincide with PCS members receiving their ballot papers through the post to vote in our consulative ballot on pay which opened on Monday and closes on 6 November.
Cap ravages your pay
Mark will outline our pay campaign, describe the impact of 7 years of pay restraint on our members and the need for the labour movement to unite to achieve fully-funded above inflation pay rises for all public sector workers.
The PCS pay campaign, which calls for the 1% pay cap to be lifted for all public sector workers and for everyone to be given fully-funded rises of at least 5% or £1200, is gaining momentum following a series of activities in recent months. These have included members holding payday protests on 29 September, 31 August and 31 July.
Got a question? Ask yours by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org including your name and branch.
A selection of your questions will be asked live to Mark by journalist Rachel Shabi. While not all your questions will be put to Mark during the live event, we will answer all questions in the next few days.
Not a PCS member? Join today to help grow our campaign because we all deserve a pay rise.
