Early Day Motion tabled in Parliament in support of Wykeham Nursery

Wykeham Nursery in North Yorkshire is facing closure in 2022.

MPs have today (18) tabled an early day motion in support of PCS members working at Wykeham Nursery in North Yorkshire which is facing closure in 2022. The proposed closure will effect 10 staff and wide range of additional services throughout the local community including cleaners, a haulage firm and agency staff. PCS believes the closure will detrimentally affect the government's climate change target and will lead to a loss of valuable expertise in this unique sector.

EFRA group executive members have met with the Shadow Forestry Minister Ruth Jones and are meeting with Ian Byrne MP, member of the EFRA select committee, on 9 June.

Please contact your MP and encourage them to sign EDM 44. MPs' contact details can be found online (https://members.parliament.uk/members/Commons).
