Attendance Management Update

HMRC has issued a statement on Attendance Management following motions submitted to PCS R&C Group Conference

At PCS Revenue & Customs group conference earlier this week a number of motions relating to Attendance Management were debated. Motions A51, A52 and A56 were carried.

Given that HMRC are currently reviewing the Attendance Management policy, PCS gave the department a copy of these motions and made clear that if these motions were carried they would be binding on the group executive committee.

HMRC management issued PCS with a statement yesterday morning (23) setting out its stance on Attendance Management.

At its next meeting the group executive committee will consider the HMRC statement and we will ensure that branches are kept updated.
