The rearranged Extraordinary General Meeting followed by the Annual General Meeting of PCS Associate and Retired Members (ARMs) in the South West will take place on Friday 23 March 2018 at the White Ensign Club, South Street, EXETER, EX1 1ED commencing at 13.30.
ARMs members living in the following postcode areas are eligible to attend and vote: BA; BH (Dorset); BS; DT; EX; GL; PL; SN (Wiltshire); SP (Wiltshire); TA; TQ; TR.
Refreshments will be available from 13.00. The EGM/AGM is expected to finish by 15.30.

Glen Burrows, Chair of Gloucestershire, Avon and Somerset National Pensioners Convention, will be a guest speaker. We also look forward to welcoming a representative of Slater and Gordon (Solicitors) a PCS+ organisation who have kindly agreed to donate £75.00 towards the EGM/AGM buffet.

At the AGM we shall be hearing of the latest PCS developments and campaigns as well as electing regional officers and a regional committee to assist with the promotion of ARMs and the possible formation of local groups within the South West region. Officers and members of the committee whether elected or co-opted are eligible to stand for election.
The present regional committee is as follows: chair – Brian Gibson (Trowbridge); vice-chair – David Francis (Axminster); secretary – David Wotton (Paignton); treasurer – Julian Tomlin (Taunton); Ian Chard (Bristol); Catherine Craig (Exeter); Keith Evans (Bristol); Geoffrey Ferguson (Calstock); Adrienne Purnell (Plymouth); Ann Rhodes (Exeter); Kevin Russell (Wells); Tony Walsh (Midsomer Norton). Co-opted: Simon Smith (Cheltenham). Beverley Anderson (Wells) was appointed independent examiner at the 2017 AGM.
It is with much sadness that we record the death of Lesley Kent, a long standing member of the committee.
Nominations/Motions etc. for the AGM should be made using the appropriate forms (below), in the case of a Nomination the consent of the nominee should be obtained first. The closing date for the receipt of nominations, motions and/or amendments to the Regional Constitution is Friday 16 February 2018.
