PCS members are in their final week of the FCO Interserve 4 week strike action. Interserve cleaners, porters and facilities staff have been in dispute with their employer since March 2019, which has already involved 18 days of strike action over six periods last year.
Following this action, ‘informal’ meetings between management and reps and several letters from MPs, our General Secretary and three rounds of ACAS talks, Interserve have yet to justify making staff wait six weeks for wages whilst moving pay dates without a contractural buyout.
On Tuesday 10 December we will be making a national effort with fellow trade union members to be out talking with as many people as we can about the general election.
