This page contains links to up-to-date information, advice, guidance and signposting to resources on specific gender occupational health and safety matters, and looks at women's health and safety.
Reps and members might like to familiarise themselves with guidance on the excellent Hazards website covering issues such as:
- domestic violence
- time off for infertility treatment
- menopause - TUC guidance, Worksmart guidance, advice from Hazards (pdf file)
- women health and safety reps - organising tips and resources from Hazards.
PCS is involved in the TUC's reconvened gender and occupational safety and health group (GOSH). The group focuses on a gender-sensitive approach to occupational health and safety and ensuring equal rights to protection for all workers.
Information and resources created by the group are available on the gender and occupational health and safety webpages on the TUC website.
With your help we will look to develop resources for reps and members.
