Security Industry Authority

The SIA is the regulatory body for the security industry in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.

We are a non-departmental public body responsible directly to the Home Secretary. The sectors we currently regulate are door supervision, close protection, security guarding, public space CCTV, vehicle immobilisers and key holders.

We have about 170 people working in the SIA, a number of whom are remote workers.

Contact details for PCS representatives for the SIA and more information can be found on the PCS Home Office group webpages.
