Like many cities across the UK, Nottingham has seen savage funding cuts erode the services it has a duty to provide to residents. Many of these services are at breaking point.
The theme of May Day in Nottingham will be 'Save Our Services' but there will also be a recognition of the crisis facing the Palestinian people in Gaza and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine
There'll also be a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the miners strike.
Join trade union activist, members and supporters in their annual celebration and protest. There'll be a range of speakers, stalls and music at the rally.
