Join us for a special in-person event at PCS headquarters in London to mark Black History Month 2023, featuring a programme packed full of workshops and discussion sessions.

All members in London are encouraged to register to attend this event, which has been jointly organised by PCS and the Workers Educational Association (WEA), a leading adult education charity.

Celebrating the theme of ‘Leadership in the Black Communities’, the event will take place between 10am until 4pm on 19 October and is open to all PCS members and people who are not members of PCS or any trade union.

Everyone wishing to attend must register on Eventbrite.

The guest speaker will be Arthur Torrington CBE, a historian and co-founder of the London-based Windrush Foundation.

Members of the WEA Trade Unions Branch, colleagues from the trade union movement, Nimo Hirsi of the SOS Education Group, and Oshor Williams of the Professional Footballers’ Association are among the other key speakers.
