International Workers' Memorial Day is 28 April, when we remember those who have lost their lives at work. In 2022/23, 145 workers were killed in the UK due to fatal injuries at work.
PCS activists across the country will be contacting thousands of PCS members on 13 April to get the vote out in our national ballot in defence of pay, pensions and jobs.
Low pay affects everyone, but the cumulative effects of attacks on pay, pensions and terms and conditions will hit younger members hardest.
PCS has launched a strike ballot which will run until 13 May. It’s your chance to send the government a clear message that it’s time for decent pay in the civil service and related bodies.
On Thursday, the deputy prime minister suspended the Civil Service Muslim Network.
