News
With less than 4 weeks to go in our national strike ballot teams of PCS activists are busy getting the vote out.
The strike action has been suspended as a result of TPR agreeing to enter into meaningful negotiations with PCS.
PCS General Secretary Fran Heathcote will speak at an event on Thursday (7) in support of a new campaign against the government’s minimum service levels laws.
Following intensive talks with senior management at the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency we have suspended our planned strike action which was due to take place from Thursday to Sunday (8-11 February).
Talks with the Cabinet Office on our national campaign demands continued towards the end of 2023. While positive, they are unlikely to be enough to end our dispute, and we are putting in place plans to get members ready for a ballot in the new year.
