Who's it for
Everyone is welcome

Join PCS’s Head of Equalities, Diane Ebanks, at a special Trade Union Congress (TUC) event in London which will celebrate the work of contemporary black women trade unionists.

Chaired by the TUC’s Kudsia Batool, the event at the TUC’s head office at Congress House will feature conversations with inspiring black female leaders from across the trade union movement.

Diane will be joined by Shavannah Taj from the TUC, Jayne Bekoe from the Royal College Of Midwives (RCM) and Jennifer Moses from NASUWT, the teachers’ union.

These remarkable women have played a crucial role in shaping the labour movement, fighting for workers' rights, and breaking down barriers.

This event will not only serve as a platform to acknowledge their achievements but also inspire future generations of Black women who are vastly underrepresented within leadership structures in unions.

PCS members are encouraged to join to honour the ongoing contributions and achievements of these Black women.
