Personal legal advice and personal injury service
As a PCS member you can access legal advice on non work-related problems.
All PCS members and their partners have access to the union's personal injury service, provided the accident or injury has occurred in the UK or within UK jurisdiction.
The scheme also extends to other family members where the accident or injury has occurred outside of work, or the family member is a victim of medical negligence. Last year the PCS personal injury compensation claim scheme recovered more than £2.5 million in compensation for members and their partners or dependent children. In order to qualify under the scheme it is normally necessary to have been a member at the time of the accident or injury arising and to be in current membership or associate membership of PCS.
