Ballot engagement for a powerful union

It’s important that as many members as possible vote before the ballot closes at 12 noon on Thursday 31 August.  There is now less than a week before the deadline for you to cast your vote.

High levels of participation are something to be proud of. Firstly, on the outcome of the ballot, the national executive, groups, branches and members around the UK will gain an understanding of members’ democratic will. The national executive committee will have the confidence that members are listening and supporting its strategy for the campaign.

Secondly, a strong turnout will show that we have a union where members are engaged and committed. As a union this gives us strength.

Strong participation sends a message to government and employers that PCS members stand together in solidarity and cannot be ignored. And members will know that, as a union, we are strong together.
