Court of Appeal judgment on pensions
The Court Of Appeal has delivered a disappointing judgment today, rejecting the appeal by PCS and other unions against the UK Government’s meddling with the pension cost control arrangements.
This has denied members the reductions of pension contributions, which they were due from 2019, amounting to more than £1,000 in most cases.
PCS and the other unions involved in this legal case will now be considering the next steps we can take in conjunction with our lawyers.
