Join PCS Live with Fran Heathcote at 7pm on 19 March

Our ballot of members working for 171 bargaining areas opens on Monday 18 March and ballot papers will start arriving at ballot addresses in the following days.

The statutory postal-only ballot closes on 13 May.

Members in the Scottish devolved sector are not included in the ballot as they agreed a two-year pay deal last year.

In our national campaign survey which closed on 5 March, 96% of respondents said they supported the pay demands, 82% were prepared to strike to achieve them and 66% supported a strike levy to fund paid targeted action.

The PCS Live event, chaired by acting national president Martin Cavanagh, is your chance to hear from PCS general secretary Fran Heathcote and to ask your questions about our pay claim and national campaign, the ballot and potential strike action.
