Not yet voted in the ballot? Expect a text and a call from PCS

With our consultative ballot underway and voting still open, we want to make sure as many members as possible have their say. If you have not yet voted, you can expect a text or a call from us this week.

The ballot asks members in the civil service and related areas to support the union's plan for the next stage in our campaign on pay, pensions, redundancy terms and job security.

PCS is a member-led union, so it’s up to you to tell us if you agree with the strategy by voting in the ballot. We are encouraging all members to vote yes.

It is really important that you get involved and have your say on the future direction of our campaign. If you have not yet voted by 21 August, you can expect a text message from PCS or a phone call from a PCS volunteer reminding you to vote in the ballot.

Tomorrow (15 August) is the deadline for new members to join PCS and still be included in the ballot. As long as you join by 5pm on Tuesday 15 August you will automatically be included in the ballot. A voting email will be sent directly from the independent scrutineers approximately 2 weeks after the date of joining.

Please encourage any potential new recruits who would like to have a say on the next steps of the campaign to join before this cut-off point.
