Disability History Month

Disability History Month runs from 16 November to 16 December, and this year’s theme is Disability, Children and Youth. 


Climate Crisis and the Workplace – Green Skills for Trade Unionists

20 November - 11 December

The course will look at a ‘just transition’ to a greener economy, where workers have a central voice in planning the transition.


Health and Safety Reps Part 2

20 November - 4 December: 10am – 4pm

This course explores in more detail the relevant skills and knowledge you will require to be an effective Health & Safety Rep


Age Discrimination

20 November: 10am – 4pm

The session will take a look at the causes of age discrimination, and the protections that currently exist with UK law, so that union reps can take collective and individual issues forward, and seek to improve workplace policies.


Handling Complex Issues - Northern Ireland and Scotland regions 

21 November - 5 December: 9:30am – 4:30pm

This course is aimed at more experienced reps. It focuses on Conduct & Discipline, Bullying/Harassment, Discrimination, Attendance& ‘Efficiency’ issues


Welcome to PCS - Midlands and South West regions 

21 November: 10am – 4pm

This course is aimed at members who are new to the union and interested in getting involved in union activity.


Organising & Industrial Relations

22 November - 13 December: 10am – 4pm

Sign up to this four day course to get more involved in building the union. This course is not just for Branch Organisers - it's for all activists!


Advocates Next Steps

22 November: 12pm – 1pm

The aim of this session is to continue to develop the skills of union advocates who have begun to carry out the role' and to give them confidence in talking to members to help build the union.

23 November - 7 December: 10am – 4pm

This 3-day course will give you the tools to make a difference on learning in your union branch!
