Gender Pay Gap reveals women working on average 52 days for free
The gender pay gap, the difference between what men and women are paid on average now stands at 14.3% meaning that women essentially work for the first 52 days of the year for free.

Tackling Stress as a Trade Union Issue
26 February - 4 March: 9m – 3pm
This course will give you the skills and knowledge to effectively represent your members, covering organising, campaigning, negotiating, equality, and more.
27 February: 10am – 11am
This session explores why is it important for the union to lead the way on equalities and will give you a basic understanding of the 'protected characteristics', key concepts such as discrimination, and The Equality Act.
Women's course: Pathways for Women Workers
27 February: 9:30am – 4pm
This course explores issues relating to your working life as a woman, and as a union member. It will increase your confidence and skills should you want to progress in the workplace, and in the union.
Developing Your Branch Advocates
27 February: 9am – 12pm
This session is to inform reps, including Branch and Group Officers, about the role of the Advocate, and give them some guidance and tips on what they can do to support advocates, and how utilising advocates effectively can build the union.
29 February: 9am – 4pm
This short course is aimed at PCS reps (and also open to non-union reps where spaces are available) and will cover: Why sexual harassment is a trade union issue.
29 February: 9:30am – 12pm
This short course for reps and members has been designed to create greater awareness of the menopause as a workplace issue.
